There are only TWO MORE WEEKS to go before the NY Product Design Awards closes its Final Entry period. We know you want to get your work in, so here’s a list of commonly asked questions to get you through submission!
When is the Final Entry deadline? At 11:59PM (GMT-5) on Wednesday, March 30.
What materials will I need to submit an entry? You will need to submit a short description of your work, which should include basic details, project information, and a project description within 350 words.
Throw in a quick snippet on why you think your work deserves to win an NY award, too.
A thumbnail showcasing your product, and up to 10 images and/or PDF files that you believe best showcases your design or product should be included in your entry.
Can I upload drawings or renderings? These can be used as supporting materials, but the majority of images should be photographs or images.
I am having trouble with uploading my images, what do I do? Make sure that each image does not exceed 5MB, with all files named in English without special characters or spacings
How do I pay for my entries? We have Stripe and PayPal as our payment gateways. This also means that credit cards are accepted.
Will I have to pay a fee if I win? No. There are no additional costs or “acceptance fees” after you win.
There are only charges if you decide to purchase items to celebrate your wins, such as additional certificates or statuettes.
Can I enter an uncompleted or speculative project? Check to see if your project qualifies under the Conceptual category. If it does, then yes, we do accept these designs.
Can I add video content to my entry? Yes, you can share the URLs/links in the entry form.
Can I enter a product collection? Yes. We accept collections as long as the products are tied together by a common theme which unites them under a series. This should be easily demonstratable and recognizable at first glance.
Is the entry form available in other languages? The entry form is only in English, unfortunately. However, if you would like to submit your work in a different language, you can opt to do so provided you include an English translation.
This is to ensure our international panel of jurors is able to assess the details written, so judging is fair.
